The world’s largest international textile and garment technology exhibition, ITMA 2023 will be held at Fiera Milano Rho, Milan, Italy from 8 to 14 June 2023. It is expected to attract over 1,500 exhibitors to showcase their latest products and technologies over 220,000 square metres of gross exhibition space, and international visitorship of more than 100,000. This makes ITMA 2023 the most highly anticipated textile and garment machinery exhibition in the world.
The overarching theme of ITMA 2023 is Transforming the World of Textiles. It reflects the aspirations of both textile machinery and textile producers that collaboration can bring forth a more sustainable future for the industry and the planet. Underscoring the theme are four trending topics: automation and digital future, advanced materials, sustainability and circularity, and innovative technologies.
Held every four years since 1951, ITMA is recognised as the ‘Olympics’ of textile machinery exhibitions where the industry converges showcase outstanding innovations, and explore fresh ideas, effective solutions and collaborative partnerships for business growth.

Highlights at ITMA 2023
The well-received ITMA Sustainable Innovation Award, Innovation Video Showcase and Innovator Xchange are among the main events at ITMA 2023. Onsite events include the ITMA Nonwovens Forum, Textile Colourant and Chemical Leaders Forum, and several co-located industry events that will further enhance the educational and networking opportunities among textile industrialists from around the world.
When visiting the exhibition, check out the Start-Up Valley – a new initiative by CEMATEX to spotlight start-ups with innovative solutions, and the Research & Innovation Lab – where cutting edge developments from research and educational institutes, and the industry will be showcased.
